1. Agreement to Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using ManyHats Ledger ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. No CPA, Accounting, or Legal Tax Advice
Important Tax Disclaimer:
ManyHats Ledger is an administrative bookkeeping and optical character recognition tool designed to assist in organizing expenses across business profiles. ManyHats Ledger is not a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), accounting firm, or tax attorney, and does not provide professional tax, legal, or financial advice.
The automated categorizations provided by AI are estimates based on your business descriptions and input. You are solely responsible for reviewing all items (including the Needs Review queue) and ensuring the accuracy of your financial records before filing tax returns with the IRS or other authorities.
3. Subscriptions, Billing & Founding Cohort
ManyHats Ledger offers both free and paid subscription tiers:
- Demo Tier: Free account with 10 lifetime scans and up to 2 active business entities.
- Solo & Portfolio Tiers: Monthly or annual recurring subscriptions processed securely via Stripe.
- Founding Cohort Offer: A permanent grandfathered annual rate ($59/year) limited strictly to the first 20 qualifying subscribers. In consideration of this lifetime rate, Founding Cohort members receive early-access VIP beta testing privileges for experimental features, new parsing models, and preview builds of upcoming ManyHats suite applications. Founding subscriptions retain their $59/year renewal rate for the life of the active account unless canceled.
- Cancellations: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via the integrated Stripe Customer Portal in your Account Settings.
4. Acceptable Use & Content Ownership
You retain full ownership of all data, transactions, and receipt images uploaded to your account. You agree not to use the Service for unlawful activities, attempt to probe or bypass security mechanisms, or upload malicious files.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ManyHats Ledger and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service, or any errors in automated receipt processing.
6. Changes & Contact
We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of the Service after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Inquiries regarding these terms may be directed to support@manyhats.app.
